Victor Hugo Hotel - Toulouse

Very clean, both the room and the bathroom. Good beds with crisp cotton sheets. Good air con. Room well thought out even though small. Nice staff. Nothing pretentious, but nothing cheapskate either. Excellent value.

Rooms are not beautiful but you cannot expect everything!

I liked the location of this hotel very much. It is not very nosy, but it locates close enough to the most of main attractions. The room is litle, but comfortable.

I would prefer to have iron in the room. However, I am sure one was available at the front desk.

The thing I was very impressed with was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble and this was very refreshing. Myself and my friends would definitely recommend this hotel. A very positive experience overall.

We booked a double room and found the bathroom very small. A friend stayed in a single room and the bathroom in her room was more spacious.

The hotel is well located, rooms are very clean and tidy. Good quality for that price.

We were in Toulouse to watch rugby and the staff were very helpful, giving us directions, finding out about buses and sorting us out breakfast when we had missed it! Would stay there again if in Toulouse!

Location is brilliant, an ok basic hotel

Very very old (not for the price, really), no curtains in the bathroom. The staff was trying to make us pay for the room when we were back from a night out at 2 am..a bit weird.

Staff are extremly frendly and speak English. Rooms Ok and clean. Location excellent at the end of the main shopping street in TLS, 5 min walk to centre.

Breakfast was not worth the money, can get better and more in any street side cafe.

Pretty good value for the city center. Friendly people.

Free wifi did not work about half of the time.

Very convenient - only 5 minutes walk to the city centre and this was down main streets. Also convenient for the station, Metro and Airport bus. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

This was a budget hotel, and therefore a bit basic. My room was OK but it would have been nicer if the decor was freshened up and modernised.

It is way too expensive for the little and dirty room
